A fire was started deliberately in a York park last night (Monday).
It happened off Hunters Close in Haxby at 7pm.
Firefighters from Huntington went to the incident. They found a bin on fire.

They used buckets of water to put the fire out. A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said the cause was “believed to be due to youths”.
