Police who launched an urgent search for a York man who has been missing for days say he’s been found.
The search was started after the 49-year-old was last seen in the Stonebow area of York on Monday (17 November).
This afternoon, North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “We’re pleased to confirm that he has now been found safe, thanks to a call from a member of the public from across the border.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal or contacted us with information. Your support is invaluable and helps ensure our appeals reach as many people as possible.”
