A pedestrian was seriously hurt in a crash with a car on a busy York road yesterday (Thursday).
It happened on Hull Road close to Tranby Avenue at around 4.55pm.
A Ford Ka collided with a pedestrian, who was taken to York Hospital with serious injuries.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The driver is helping officers with their enquiries.
“We are now urging any witnesses to come forward or any motorists with relevant dashcam footage of the collision who have not already been spoken to at the scene to come forward.”
