A man is in hospital after this morning’s crash on Gillygate in York.
As YorkMix reported, the road was closed by the incident at 5.30am today (Monday).
The collision involved a Ford Ka and a pedestrian.

The road was closed to allow investigation work to take place. It reopened again at 10.30am.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The pedestrian was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
“The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
“We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the pedestrian or vehicle prior to the collision or anyone with any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact us.”
