One man is in hospital with serious injuries after last night’s three-vehicle crash.
As YorkMix reported, a lorry and two cars collided on the eastbound carriageway between York and Tadcaster, shortly after 7pm on Wednesday.
Police have now released more details. It involved a white DAF truck, a white Suzuki car and silver Kia car.
Crash location
The driver of the Kia was taken to hospital by ambulance. He has suspected serious injuries.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “All three drivers are assisting police with the investigation.
“The scene was closed to traffic with diversions in place to allow the emergency services to work safely at the scene.
“In support of the investigation, we are urging witnesses to come forward or motorists with relevant dashcam footage of the collision itself or any of the vehicles prior to the incident.”
