A man has been charged over a cat attack in Driffield.
The incident was reported to police on Wednesday (5 November).
Paul Thorpe, 62, of Ashthorpe in Hull, has been charged with criminal damage under £5000 and fail to prevent the causing of unnecessary suffering to an animal.
He has been released on conditional bail to appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Thursday, 27 November.
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “It was reported a man allegedly held a cat over a fence for two dogs to attack which is believed to have resulted in serious injuries.”
