The A684 between Bedale and Leyburn will be closed from this Monday (24 November) for 11 weeks.
It’s the section known as Conyers Lane from Leyburn Road to the Wild Hill Lane and Chapel Lane junction.
The road will be fully closed for 11 weeks, except for the Christmas period, Friday 19 December to Monday 5 January.
It’s to carry out drainage work and highway repairs.
A fully signed diversion will be in place and on-site council workers will manage access to properties and businesses within the closure.
