Police have revealed the details of the raid on Savers in Acomb.
As YorkMix reported, the health and beauty shop on Front Street was cordoned off after its front window was smashed by a thief yesterday (Monday).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It happened at Savers on Front Street at around 1.50am yesterday (Monday 25 May), and involved a number of perfume bottles being stolen from the store.
“We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area at this time.”
