Firefighters were called to a fire in a York park last night (Monday).
They went to the incident at Rowntree Park at 6.12pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from York attended an incident involving a small fire that had been set to a band stand in the park.
“The fire was made up of traffic cones and believed to have been deliberate. Crews used a knapsack sprayer in order to extinguish the fire.”
