A woman was spat at as she took a Christmas Day walk in York.
It happened on the riverside footpath near Sycamore Terrace at about 10am.
Four youths on bikes approached the woman, who was on her own.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “One of them has then spat at the female hitting her on the face.
“If you were in the area that that time or have any information please contact us.”
