A man has been arrested by police investigating a rape in the city.
Officers went to an address in Union Terrace at 7.25am on Tuesday, 21 July, as part of its investigation into a rape reported to the force on 23 November last year.
A man then climbed onto the roof of the building. He stayed there for nearly an hour, being arrested at 8.19am.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “He had to be brought down with assistance from the fire service, with paramedics in attendance also.
“Once down on the ground, the man was further arrested for assaulting two emergency workers – police officers – whilst they were putting handcuffs on him.”
The man, aged 42, was later bailed with conditions regarding the rape investigation.
Enquiries are continuing. The victim is a woman aged in her 40s.
He was charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and he is due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on 18 August.
