
A man was bitten by a dog in York – and police want to trace the dog’s owner.
The incident happened at about 8.15pm on Monday, March 21 on Lawrence Street near Walmgate Bar.
A dark brown Staffordshire bull terrier-type dog bit the man, causing a large puncture wound to his leg which required medical treatment.
The dog was on a lead.
