A woman aged in her 90s have been targeted by thieves who stole her cash.
Police say the victim was followed from Lloyds Bank on Pavement in York into Marks & Spencer on Parliament Street.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Once inside, she was approached by a group of people, who took cash from her.
“The victim only realised the money was missing when she went to pay for the items she had picked up. She was understandably left very distressed and upset.”
Detectives have now released CCTV images of three people they want to speak to in connection with their investigation.
