Police are appealing for help from the public after a bizarre assault in a village near York.
A woman was sitting on a bench in Stockton-on-the-Forest when she was hit on the head with a plastic gun.
It happened at about 11.30am on Saturday 19 March.
Police investigating the assault have now issued this image of a man they want to question in connection with the incident.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.”
