A woman has died after a crash on a Harrogate street.
It happened on St Winifred’s Road in the town at around 11.35am yesterday (Sunday).
The woman, who was 88, was driving a silver Toyota Yaris.

It collided with a black Tesla that was parked in the road. The woman died following the collision. Her family have been informed.
The road remained closed for several hours to allow for collision investigation work and recovery to take place.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police, to get in touch and to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the collision or moments leading up to it, or the silver Yaris prior to the collision.”
