Firefighters tackled wheelie bins which were set on fire in York this morning (Thursday).
Crews from Acomb, Huntington and York went to the fire outside a block of flats at Windsor Garth.
After putting out the fire the crews gained access to storage areas to check for fire spread.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire caused 100% damage to the wheelie bins and some damage to storage area doors.
“The cause is believed to be deliberate.”
