Mountain rescue volunteers were part of a team who rescued two people stranded at a famous North Yorkshire beauty spot last night (Thursday).
Two people who became stuck at the bottom of Aysgarth Falls in the Yorkshire Dales.
A fire crew from Leyburn was called to the scene at 5.05pm.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “After they were located by fire crews, mountain rescue teams were able to access the two people and lead them to safety.
“Both people were left in a place of safety and no further fire service action was required.”
