North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service is warning parents to tell their children how dangerous fires can be. It comes as there has been a spate of them in Scarborough recently.
The most recent fire in Raincliffe Woods in Scarborough was reported to North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service at 10.47am yesterday, Saturday 7th June.
Firefighters from the town responded to the scene, finding a 3m by 3m area of wood and undergrowth ablaze, which they made safe.
