A cyclist was punched in the face near a North Yorkshire village.
It happened at around 11.45am on Saturday (20 December) on Kirby Lane, near Kirby Grindalythe, south east of Malton.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The cyclist was punched by the driver and passenger of a white van, possibly a Peugeot Partner, leading to the victim bleeding from his face.

“We’re particularly appealing for information about anybody who may have witnessed the assault or seen a white van in the area around the time of the incident.”
