Trains between York, Leeds and Hull may be cancelled or delayed today.
Travel in and out of Selby station has been blocked because of a points failure in the Selby area.
A spokesperson for Network Rail said, “trains could be delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.”
Disruption is likely to continue this morning.
Ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption and there are now extra trains between Selby to South Milford and Micklefield at 10am.
