A young woman is fighting for her life in hospital after a crash near York.
It follows a three-car collision on the A1079 between Wilberfoss and Barmby Moor yesterday evening (Friday).
At around 6.55pm a grey Renault Master, black Mini Cooper, and blue Ford Focus collided.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended the scene, and the driver of the Mini Cooper, an 18-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries.
“She remains in a critical condition at this time. The driver of the Renault, a 27-year-old man, was also taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.”
