A teenage girl was sexually assaulted as she sat on a bench in York.
The incident happened at around 7.50pm on Wednesday 18 May.
The victim was sitting on a bench in Front Street, Acomb, when she was assaulted.
Police want to trace a woman who came to the aid of the teenager at the time.
A force spokesperson said: “The woman who came to her aid and anyone else who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.”

A man in his 50s was arrested shortly after the incident and released under investigation.
