A York thief has been arrested, charged and sent to prison, all within 36 hours.
Anthony Vipas was arrested in York in the early hours of Saturday morning for various offences and an outstanding warrant.
That afternoon he was charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of theft from a motor vehicle.
He was remanded in custody.
Vipas appeared at York Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning and was sentenced to 52 weeks’ imprisonment.
