A serious crash blocked a road south of York this afternoon (Tuesday).
A motorbike and a truck were involved in a collision just before 3pm on York Road, Stillingfleet.
An hour later North Yorkshire Police tweeted: “The road has been closed while emergency services deal with the incident.
“Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.”
But by 5.30pm the road had reopened.
