Police who were searching for a woman missing from home in York say she’s been found.
They appealed for the public’s help after she was last seen near her home in the Huntington area at 12.45pm today (Tuesday, 13 January 2026).
Officers said she might be using the bus and train network to travel.
This afternoon North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “We’re pleased to report that the 73-year-old woman missing from York earlier today, has been found safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who share the appeal.”
