Firefighters were called to a fire in a village near York this afternoon (Saturday).
Acomb and York went to the incident at Dunnington at 1.19pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Acomb and York responded to reports of a roof on fire at a residential property.
“The fire was out on arrival of the crews and they dampened down the area using 1 hose reel jet. Advice was given.”
