Emergency services went to a crash in York last night.
It happened on a slip road leading to the A64.
In a statement at 2.40am today (Saturday), North Yorkshire Police said: “While conducting mobile patrols this evening, officers from band 4 response attended a road traffic collision.
“The driver was identified to be driving on an expired licence and was therefore reported for driving otherwise in accordance with his license.
“The vehicle was also seized.”
