There’s been a development in the investigation into a “concerning incident” at a York play park.
As we reported yesterday, police are investigating an incident of outraging public decency in Strensall.
It happened in The Village play park at 6.45pm on Sunday 28 June, near to Strensall and Towthorpe Hall.
Incident location
Detectives issued an image of a man they wanted to talk to about what happened yesterday.
They have now issued this update: “We can confirm that the man in the image has been identified and is assisting our enquiries.”
Police are still appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
