With the Salisbury Terrace/Balfour Street road closure in York still in place and buses diverted, the City of York Council has announced that a shuttle bus service will be set up.
This will start on Tuesday (21 July) from the station at 6.30am and run until the last bus at 10.30pm.
The bus will run a circular route from the station via Leeman Road, Park Street, Garfield Terrace, Livingstone Street, Salisbury Terrace, Water End, Poppleton Road, Holgate Road, Blossom Street and back to York Station, approximately every 30 mins.

The bus will stop at all stops on Park Street, Cinder Street, Livingstone Street and Salisbury Road (heading towards Water End), and the Seldon Road stop near Poppleton Road Primary School.
Then it will run as an express to Blossom Street and on to the Station for connections to rail and other bus services.
Waste collections
For those of you who have waste collections this week the council will be sending a letter with information about the arrangements being put in place so that they can still collect.
A spokesperson for the City of York Council said: “Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
