Police have cordoned off a house and several streets in York today (Friday).
The house, on Huntington Road, is behind police tape and an officer is standing guard.
It is a two-storey terraced house close to the junction with Lowther Street.

Officers are currently inside the building. Police have also cordoned off Lowther Street, Brownlow Street and March Street.
In a message to residents, police said they would stay in place until further notice and people should plan their journeys accordingly.
