A person was rescued after being trapped at a North Yorkshire airfield in the early hours this morning (Wednesday).
Firefighters were called to the incident at Topcliffe Airfield near Thirsk at 2.52am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Thirsk responded to a report of a person who had become trapped between two wire fences.

“The crew used wire cutters and hard and soft protection to release the person from the fence.”
