Police are investigating an incident on York Road in Barlby near Selby where damage was caused to an empty property.
Officers are appealing for information and say there is also evidence to suggest that someone may have sustained an injury whilst inside.
The property was unlawfully entered between 24/05/26 and 30 /05/26 during which time extensive damage was caused.
A police spokesperson said: “We are asking local residents, dog walkers, and anyone who was in the area during this period to contact us if they saw anything suspicious or have any information that could assist our enquiries.”
