A driver was cut from the wreckage of a two-vehicle crash near Malton last night (Tuesday, 31 December).
As YorkMix reported, the collision was on the A64 and led to the road being closed between Golden Hill and Huttons Ambo.
Emergency services were called out to the incident at 7.51pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Malton and York responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision.
“Crews used spreaders to release the door to allow one driver to self extricate.
“The casualty was then left with paramedics to receive treatment whilst fire crews made the vehicle safe.”
The incident was left with police.
