Changes are set for a major York shopping centre following its take over by a national retail group.
Signs featuring new branding would be installed at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet after Fraser Group PLC announced it was buying the site, in Fulford.
Four illuminated signs installed at the site’s north, south, east and west entrances along with two on totems would bear the group’s Frasers Plus name and logo.

Plans stated the new signs formed part of a rebranding exercise following the change in ownership.
It comes after Fraser Group, which owns Sports Direct, Flannels and Frasers, announced it had bought the site from previous owners Aviva Investors in April.
The move also saw the group, owned by retail tycoon Mike Ashley, take over the East Midlands Designer Outlet near Derby and Nottingham.
Frasers Group chief executive Michael Murray said the strategic acquisitions supported their vision for the group which owns more than one fifths of the UK outlet market.
Paul Tyler, McArthurGlen’s centre manager for the York site, said in April he did not expect the take over to affect the day-to-day running of the site.
York’s Designer Outlet is home to more than 100 stores along with a number of food and drink outlets.
It covers an area of about 23,000 square metres, or almost 250,000 square feet, and first opened in 1998.
