A new store from a global brand looks set to open in Monks Cross in York.
Plans are in to change the branding at one of the stand-alone units at the shopping centre.
It will move into what was the home to Claire’s, the accessories store.
Pandora, the jewellery specialist, is set to move in.
It is the world’s largest jewellery brand, with more than 2,800 stores around the world.

A planning application has been lodged with City of York Council to put up three new fascia aluminium store signs in pink, as well as one illuminating projecting sign.
The existing shopfront is to be retained but the doors will be updated.
Claire’s closed all its stores – including the ones in Monks Cross and Parliament Street, after appointing administrators for its UK and Ireland business last August after filing for bankruptcy in the US.
This month Pandora announced it was to declare the carbon footprint of all of its lab‑grown diamonds as part of its sustainability push.
