A biker has died after a collision with a vehicle in North Yorkshire
Police are appealing for information and any witnesses to come forward. It happened at 7.55pm yesterday (Saturday 6 June 2026) on Sir John’s Lane in Sherburn in Elmet and involved a silver Suzuki motorcycle and a blue Mazda vehicle.
The rider of the motorcycle died at the scene. Police say: “Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.”
Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision, has any relevant dashcam footage, or who may have seen either vehicle prior to the incident, to come forward.
