More than £2K of music equipment stolen from York store

More than £2,000-worth of music equipment has been stolen from a York store.

It happened at Gear4Music on Kettlestring Lane, Clifton Moor, on Saturday 6 June.

A music production system worth around £1,400 and a synthesiser worth £769 were stolen.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in image will have important information that could assist our investigation.

“We also urging members of the public to contact us if they have been offered an Akai MPC Live III Standalone Music Production System or a Sequential Fourm 4-Voice Analog Synthesizer for sale under suspicious circumstances.”

If you know the man in the picture, or have any other relevant information, police ask you to come forward.
