A moped was stolen and then left badly damaged in Ripon.
It happened at about 7.15pm on Monday 18 May. The moped was parked at the side of Sainsbury’s on the Market Place, near to the rear exit.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The moped has since been located a short distance away, with substantial damage.

“We’re particularly appealing for information about two male suspects that are believed to have been involved.
“One was wearing light grey joggers with a darker grey top on. The second was wearing what appeared to be a darker grey tracksuit. Both had their hoods up.”
