Police are searching for a man who stole a woman’s handbag from a York hotel.
It happened at about 8am on Thursday 23 April at the Hampton by Hilton on Toft Green.
The victim was sitting eating her breakfast when a man stole her handbag, which was hanging on the back of her chair.

About 30 minutes later, credit cards taken from the stolen handbag were used to buy things at shops at York Station.
The thief then boarded a train.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “If you can help identify the man, who is believed to have removed his hat and put spectacles on in-between the images being captured, please get in touch as we believe he will have important information that could help our investigation.”
