A biker was seriously hurt in a crash on a main road east of York yesterday.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A166 York Road, Wetwang, between York and Driffield, near the junction with the B1248.
At about 1.30pm on Boxing Day, a silver Kia Rio was involved in a collision with a red Honda motorbike.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended the scene and the motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man, was taken to hospital to receive treatment for life threatening injuries.
“If anyone witnessed the collision, or has dashcam or CCTV from around the time the incident occurred, please contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 203 of 26 December 2025.”
