A man who was trying the doors of a car in a York street assaulted people who challenged him.
It happened at 12.15am on Sunday 26 April on Walmgate.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A man was trying the car doors of a white vehicle parked on Walmgate.
“The man then assaulted and verbally abused people who have gone to challenge him.”
Four people received minor injuries in the incident, one required hospital treatment for concussion.
A man in his 20s was arrested and has been bailed while enquiries continue.
Police said: “Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.”
