Just ten days after Wigginton Road in York was underwater due to a mains burst, it appears to have happened again.
Sandy Macdonald sent YorkMix this video of flooding on the road again this lunchtime (Sunday).
Sandy wrote: “Looks like the water mains on Wigginton Road that has just been ‘repaired’ has burst again. It’s currently under about a foot of water.”
The footage, taken from a bus window, shows the road close to York Hospital.
We reported on Thursday 10 October that Wigginton Road was underwater following a mains burst.
Patients were warned to allow extra time for their journey to York Hospital while Yorkshire Water fixed the problem.
There have been a series of burst pipes on the road in recent years.
