Firefighters were called to a fire started deliberately in York last night (Wednesday).
They went to Northfield at 6.41pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to a small fire measuring one metre squared, consisting of a disposable barbecue and rubbish.

“Crews used knapsack sprayers to extinguish the fire and police were informed as this fire was believed deliberate.”
