Here are all the York bus journeys cancelled today

The problems continue for York bus passengers today (Friday).

We reported that well over 100 First Bus journeys were cancelled in the city yesterday.

And more than 70 trips have been ditched today.

Services 4, 5, 5A, 6, 59 and U1 are affected. Here’s the complete list.

There may be more cancellations at the weekend, but this is not yet confirmed.

This is what the First Bus spokesperson told us when we asked about the disruption yesterday.

“We are very sorry for the disruption and inconvenience caused for our customers in York today.

“Unfortunately, due to a technical review of some vehicles, we have had to make some temporary changes to how we allocate buses on our routes in and around York.

“We are doing all we can to minimise the impact to journeys as much as possible but we recognise this will mean changes to many journeys.

“Customers are advised to check before travelling and visit the website for regular updates.”
