Police are appealing for witnesses after a gang tried to steal four caravans from a village near Selby.
It happened at a site on Dam Lane, Thorpe Willoughby,at around 5.45pm on Wednesday (27 May).
An unknown number of suspects tried to steal the caravans before making off in a vehicle.
Incident location
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information about from any witnesses who may have seen any suspicious vehicles or people in the area at this time.
“And for any CCTV which may show any suspicious vehicles on Dam Lane.”
