Fragrances worth thousands of pounds stolen from York store

Police are investigating a high-value theft at a York department store.

Fragrances worth £4,000 were taken from Browns on Davygate at 5.22pm on Saturday 9 March.

And police want to talk to these two men about it.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’ve issued these CCTV images of two men we need to speak to following the theft.

“Despite being seen and spoken to by staff, they quickly left the store without paying for the goods.

“Please contact us if you recognise either man pictured on CCTV.”
