Two fires were started deliberately off a York street early this morning.
Firefighters were called to Salisbury Road at 2.54am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Acomb responded to reports of two separate bin fires in quick succession down an alleyway.

“The fires were extinguished using one hose reel jet and the cause was deliberate.”
