Police have been called in after a fire was started deliberately in York last night (Saturday).
Acomb firefighters were called to the incident off Water End at 6.20pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire consisted of tree debris.

“Fire crews extinguished the fire using a backpack sprayer and police were informed due to it being believed that the fire was ignited deliberately.”
