Farmer and firefighters rescue motorists stranded down track

Drivers got stuck down a narrow track on the North Yorkshire moors last night (Thursday).

It happened on West Dike Road, Newton on Rawcliffe at 5.04pm.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Kirkbymoorside, alongside a local farmer with a teleporter, assisted motorists who were stuck down a track, to get themselves and their vehicle to a safe place.”
