A driver was hurt after a crash in Cawood, south of York today (Saturday).
It happened at 9.16am at Thorpe Lane in the village.
The vehicle hit a street light and telegraph pole before ending up on its side.

The drivers wasn’t trapped. They were treated at the scene by paramedics.
No other vehicle was involved.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Fire crews made scene safe, righted car from being on its side to being on all four wheels and left incident with the police.”
When the electrics came back on after the collision, smoke started coming from the plug sockets of a nearby home.
The fire service spokesperson said: “Crews isolated the electrics to the property and inspected all plug sockets with the thermal imaging camera. The incident was left with the homeowner awaiting the electric board.”
